Canada Line’s YVR Airport station is centrally located between our International and Domestic Terminals. As you exit the train, turn left for domestic flights or right for US and international flights.

Canada Line accessibility

The Canada Line is accessible by elevator from arrivals and departures levels. Ask one of our friendly Green Coat volunteers, located throughout the terminals, for help finding the Canada Line.

Getting to the Canada Line from YVR

ARRIVING FROM WITHIN CANADA?

  • Your checked bags are at Arrivals on Level 2 of the Domestic Terminal
  • On Level 3, walk toward the Link Building (located between the International and Domestic Terminal)
  • Follow the signs marked Canada Line or ask any of our Customer Care staff in red or green vests for assistance

ARRIVING FROM OUTSIDE CANADA?

  • Once through the customs and immigration arrivals process, walk toward the exit to our International Arrivals Greeting Area
  • Exit the building following signs marked Canada Line
  • Before the parkade entrance, an escalator and elevator will take you up to the Canada Line platform

All transit users travelling on the Canada Line leaving YVR are subject to a $5 Canada Line YVR AddFare, in addition to the regular zone fare. AddFare is automatically added when a user purchases a fare card.

The Canada Line YVR AddFare is levied and collected by TransLink. The Airport Authority receives no portion of the money collected from the Canada Line YVR AddFare.

YVR Skylynx operates a frequent bus shuttle daily on two routes direct from YVR Airport:

  • Whistler express shuttle via Squamish and Creekside Village
  • Victoria service via Tsawwassen Bay and Swartz Bay

YVR Skylynx buses to Whistler offer free Wi-Fi, washrooms and extra legroom. Tickets can be brought online or at the YVR Skylynx kiosk located in International Arrivals.

Cycling Routes

Sea Island’s network of cycling routes is mostly comprised of on-street bicycle lanes and paved shoulders. Most of the bridge crossings spanning the middle and north arms of the Fraser River also have bicycle lanes or shoulders designated for bicyclists. Shared routes, local roads, and off-street pathways provide connections to destinations on Sea Island.

Bikes on the Canada Line

Bicycles are allowed on Canada Line trains and most TransLink buses are outfitted with front-mounted bicycle racks. Visit TransLink’s website for more information.

Drop-off areas

Courtesy shuttle pick-up and drop-off areas are located at the green canopy outside of Arrivals Level 2 International Terminal and outside the Arrivals Level 1 Domestic Terminal.

  • Request a hotel shuttle bus with the direct dial phones located on Arrivals Level 2 of both the International and Domestic Terminals
  • Direct dial phones are also located at the shuttle bus pickup area at the International and Domestic Terminals

Taxis and wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available at taxi stands located on Level 2 of the Domestic and International Arrivals Area at YVR.

Fully licensed and trained drivers

  • Taxi drivers who pick up passengers from YVR are fully licensed.
  • Taxi drivers are required to complete a course in safe driving, customer service and special needs assistance.

Zone Fares

  • Zone fares apply from YVR to specified zones
  • Metered rates apply on return trips to YVR and to areas outside of the zones
  • If two or more passengers are going to different addresses in a zone, the zone rate applies until the first passenger(s) disembark
  • The meter rate applies to the transport of the other passenger(s)
  • The meter may only be engaged when the taxi starts moving towards the second destination
  • Rates do not include gratuities
